My dreams of one day having my heart captured by a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel helped my heart, body and soul heal during a very rough time during my life in 2006. In June of 2007, back to health and well along the way on the path of healing, I was united with a tri-color Cavalier that I named Rebecca. She fills my every moment with love, loyalty, affection, joy, learning, happiness and giggles. Choosing her was one the best decisions I have made as she teaches me about love and life each and every day. She loves who she loves and she makes no apologies for that, she asks others for what she needs from them and she says no when things make her feel uncomfortable or compromised. Rebecca is truly my hero.
